PARTNER
Prof. Dr. Christian Eufinger is a full professor of finance at IESE Business School in Barcelona. He is also the academic director of the Citi-IESE Credit and Debt Markets Project, an academic committee member of IESE’s Center for International Finance, and a research fellow at IESE’s Public-Private Research Center. Additionally, he serves as the treasurer on the executive committee of the European Finance Association. Prof. Eufinger is an expert in Banking, Fintech, Corporate Finance, Valuation, and Operational Finance and teaches in various IESE programs. He was selected Best 40 under 40 Professor by Poets&Quants and won the IESE Alumni Association Research Excellence Award twice. Prof. Eufinger’s research appeared in leading academic journals including the Journal of Finance, the Review of Financial Studies, the Journal of International Business Studies, and Management Science. His research has been featured in the popular media, including the New York Times, the Financial Times, the Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, CBS News, among others. Prof. Eufinger advises and collaborates with public institutions and various private sector firms.

Prof. Dr. Andrej Gill is a Professor for Corporate Finance at Johannes Gutenberg University, Academic Director of the Gutenberg School of Business, and Director of the Gutenberg Teaching College. He serves as a Research Fellow at the Leibniz Institute for Financial Research SAFE, a member of the “Behavioral Finance e.V.” association, an Associate at the “Center for Leadership and Behavior in Organizations,” and a Researcher in the “Interdisciplinary Public Policy” research focus. His expertise primarily addresses how private households make financial market decisions, the mistakes they make, and how they can be assisted, particularly through the use of data-driven solutions. His work has been published in leading international journals.

Dr. Yann Girard is an economic consultant and experienced project manager. In this capacity, he worked for two leading economic advisory companies and the German Competition Authority (Bundeskartellamt). He is an expert in economic and empirical analysis and consulted many private companies and public institutions. Dr. Girard received a PhD in Economics from Johann Wolfgang Goethe-University Frankfurt am Main, Germany, a diploma in Economics from Johannes Gutenberg-University Mainz, Germany, and an MBA from Colorado-State University-Pueblo, USA. He has co-authored many published economic studies and academic articles in peer-reviewed journals.

Prof. Dr. Florian Hett is a professor of Digital Economics at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, speaker of the Graduate Research Group Behavioral Measurement and Field Experimentation in Finance and Economics, deputy director of the Gutenberg Council for Young Researchers. He is an expert in experimental data science, finance, as well as behavioral and social economics and helps firms and organizations understand how individuals behave in digital environments. His research has been published in leading scientific journals and is regularly funded by the German National Science Foundation (DFG) and the Federal Ministry for Education and Research (BMBF). He is an associated researcher at the Frankfurt Laboratory for Experimental Economic Research (FLEX), the Mainz Behavioral and Experimental Laboratory (MABELLA), the Leibniz Institute for Financial Research SAFE, and the Center for Leadership and Behavior in Organizations (CLBO). Further, he is a member of the committee for Organizational Economics and the committee for Social Sciences of the German Economic Association as well as the Behavioral Finance e.V..

Dr. Tobias Waldenmaier is a manager at Mercedes-Benz AG. He is an expert in corporate strategy, digital transformation and project management, with wide-ranging expertise in data analytics, business model transformation and finance. Within Mercedes-Benz, he has specialized in setting up and embedding core digitalization units to accelerate business transformation and enable data-driven decision-making. Throughout his career, he consulted companies across various industries, such as banking, asset management, automotive and consumer services. Dr. Waldenmaier received a PhD in Economics and a Master of Quantitative Economics from Johann Wolfgang Goethe-University Frankfurt am Main, Germany, a double degree in International Business Administration from ESB Reutlingen and Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE), Madrid.

Dr. Jakob Schwab is an expert in international economics, development economics and economics of climate change. He holds a Ph.D. in economics from the Gutenberg University of Mainz / GSEFM Frankfurt and has published widely in academic journals and authored policy papers on these topics. Past clients of his consulting services include, among others, the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and its service providers, as well as international institutions, such as the United Nations (UN), the World Trade Organization (WTO), and the G20. Dr. Schwab is also a research fellow at the Global Justice Program at Yale University.
